A US-based PetCare company sought to create a unified R&D environment, known as the Pet Data Lake, to centralize data from their IoT devices, which was previously stored on a vendor’s cloud. This IoT device analyzes interactions to proactively identify and address health conditions. We strategically designed the Data Lake to enhance data accessibility while fulfilling the backend requirements for the client’s dashboards and internal UI website.
Tiger Team helped the client establish a unified R&D platform, consolidating data from all devices and addressing retrieval challenges by strategically loading historical data and implementing real-time and batch data pipelines. As new IoT devices are integrated, we ensure seamless onboarding and quick issue resolution to maintain pipeline efficiency. Currently, multiple teams actively utilize the Pet Data Lake’s data through a web UI and dashboards, demonstrating its ongoing relevance across various functions.
