Diabetes Insights from Social Media

Social media is a rich source of user conversations and opinions, data from which if processed in a structured manner can provide decision makers in the health care space with valuable information. 

 

Tiger Analytics examined data from two popular social media sources – Facebook and Twitter, to illustrate the high level insights around Diabetes. We analyzed social conversations about diabetes, the top-selling diabetes drugs Januvia, Lantus, Humalog and Levemir, and their respective manufacturers Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, Merck and Sanofi.
